CoastFest 2025 was a tremendous success, drawing more than 7,500 visitors to Mary Ross Waterfront Park in Brunswick for a day of hands-on environmental education and family-friendly fun.

The event showcased the collective efforts of all divisions of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, with each contributing unique, interactive exhibits. From live animal displays by the Wildlife Resources Division to public safety support from the Law Enforcement Division, every corner of DNR was represented. State Parks shared information on Georgia’s scenic natural areas, while the Environmental Protection Division educated guests on water quality and sustainability.

Coastal Resources Division staff led marine life touch tanks and highlighted the importance of coastal conservation.

The event provided a powerful platform for engaging the public in DNR’s mission and inspiring the next generation of natural resource stewards.

CoastFest continues to be a premier outreach event, strengthening community connections and celebrating Georgia’s rich environmental heritage

Mark your calendars for the next CoastFest, slated for Saturday, March 21, 2026, again at Mary Ross Waterfront Park in Brunswick.
