The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a New Deal program began by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The CCC was instrumental in the development of several Georgia state parks that people still enjoy today. These oral history interviews were recorded during the many CCC reunions that were held at F.D. Roosevelt State Park. In them the CCC “Boys” relate their experiences and give first hand accounts of their time in the CCC.
