Reporting Your Commercial Landings

All marine and anadromous seafood products landed in Georgia are subject to reporting requirements in accordance with state and federal regulations.    The information collected is used to manage Georgia's commercial fisheries and to illustrate their economic importance to harvesters and coastal economy.  Additionally, economic aid to commercial fishermen and fishing communities is based upon the data collected by trip tickets. Unreported landings make Georgia’s fisheries appear to be less valuable than they really are, and the industry does not receive the amount of compensation it is entitled to.

Reporting forms, also called trip tickets can be downloaded from this page or you can request copies be mailed to you. Downloaded forms can be competed with the free version of Adobe Reader and returned via email to landings@dnr.ga.gov

What if I am not a Georgia resident or fished in another state?

If you are unloading your products in Georgia they are subject to Georgia's reporting requirements regardless of residency and area of harvest.  If you unload in another state you will need to comply with their reporting requirements.
