CRD to host virtual presentation on energy policy

Join Coastal Resources Division for a hands-on look at sustainable technology from featured speakers across the state discussing electric cars, car charging, solar, inverters, and a brief update from the DNR Coastal Resources Division. This event will be held at noon Friday, June 5, 2020, via Zoom conference online.

  • Justin Butera is Director of Cox Automotive's PIVET Atlanta.  Prior to joining Cox, he led used car reconditioning for Tesla.  He is from Cumming and went to Georgia College and State University.
  • K.C. Boyce is senior product director for Escalent’s Cogent Syndicated Energy practice. He’s spent a decade working with energy utilities to facilitate the energy transition. K.C. holds an MBA from Georgia State’s Robinson College of Business and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado College. 
  • Tim Echols is Vice-Chair of the Georgia Public Service Commission.  He hosts Energy Matters radio show heard both in Athens and Brunswick each Saturday.  He has three degrees from UGA and lives in Hoschton with his wife, Windy, and the last two of his seven children.
  • UPDATE: Allie Kelly is the director of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation's "The Ray" project, which seeks to create the most sustainable stretch of highway in America.
