Upcoming Range Events
Ladies Day at the Range
1st Sunday of the Month | 1:00p.m.—3:00p.m.
In an effort to get more women interested in the sport of shooting and/or practicing with firearms they own; we have designated the first Sunday of the month as Ladies’ Day at Richmond Hill Shooting Range! Half of the 50-yard range will be closed only to female shooters. Ear and eye protection will be provided if needed and a training & development specialist will be on hand for instruction or questions. Shooters must still possess a state of Georgia Hunting or Fishing license or Lands Pass to be on the property. There is no cost or registration required to attend.
Youth Archery Experience
Several Dates | 1:00p.m.—3:00p.m.
This course is intended for youth 10 years to 16 years of age that have never shot or have limited experience with archery equipment. Youth will be provided with a hands-on introduction to the basics of archery safety, parts and operation of bows and arrows, shooting fundamentals, and maintenance of archery equipment. Youth will have the chance to shoot Genesis bows which can be adjusted to fit almost any shooter. Youth must have an adult guardian (age 18 or older) with them to participate. There is no cost to attend. Registration is required by adult guardians. Stay tuned for new dates.
Youth Day at the Range
Last Sunday of the Month | 1:00p.m.—3:00p.m.
During Youth Days, there will be lanes on the 100yd and 50yd shooting ranges designated as youth only. Youth Day is designed to be fun, educational, and empowering. We encourage everyone to participate and ask any questions, in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Youth will receive a fun shooting target to practice their skills. Ear and eye protection is available upon request. Youth will also have the opportunity to shoot archery on our range. Archery equipment is also available upon request. Parents with a valid State of Georgia Fishing, Hunting License or Lands pass must be present. While we recommend BB/pellet guns or .22 caliber firearms, any firearm is permitted if the youth can handle the firearm in a safe manner. There is no cost or registration required to attend.
