State salt waters re-open for clam harvest at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024

Notice is hereby given that the salt waters of the State of Georgia from the Georgia-South Carolina state boundary line in the vicinity of the Savannah River navigational channel south to the Georgia-Florida boundary will be reopened to commercial and recreational clam harvest for human consumption effective 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2024.

This action is taken in accordance with O.C.G.A. sections 27-4-195 and 27-4-197(a) and the administrative order of the Commissioner of Natural Resources dated August 16, 2024.
