Tybee Island Marine Science Center, Temporary Activities and Use of Vehicles in Shore Protection Act Jurisdiction, North Beach Area, Tybee Island, Chatham County, Atlantic Ocean, Georgia

This serves as a notification from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources of the issuance of a Letter of Permission (LOP) to Tybee Island Marine Science Center to conduct a Sea Turtle release in Shore Protection Act (SPA) jurisdiction, North Beach area no sooner than Saturday, September 26, 2026. The project scope includes the use of vehicular equipment and temporary installation of a Release Alley as outlined in attached 2026 Project Description and Site Plan.
